In this tutorial you will learn how to turn your KCB Masternode into KBC Masternode or book it for GSC IPO (Gold Standard Bank Shares).

It’s very straightforward and quick. 

Just a reminder that you need to decide what you want to do with your KCB node before Jan 13 (the deadline was extended).

Like with KCB coins, there are two hard fork options for your node.

The first option is to convert your KCB Masternode / Fullnode into KBC Masternode / Fullnode.

The second option is to book the value of your node for Gold Standard Bank future shares (IPO).

How to turn your KCB node into KBC node

If you want to keep your Masternode / Fullnode as a node, you need to convert it to KBC Masternode / Fullnode (due to the hard fork). See directions below.

1. Log in into your Karatbit account

2. Go to your ‘Dashboard’ and select ‘KCB Nodes’ tab

3. To the right of your Masternode / Fullnode click ‘Book as S KBC’ button. Done! (See Screenshot #1 below)

 

How to book KCB node for GSC IPO

If you want to cancel your Masternode / Fullnode and want to book its value for Gold Standard Bank shares, follow directions below. (You do it through vouchers).

1. Log in into your Karatbit account

2. Go to your ‘Dashboard’ and select ‘KCB Nodes’ tab

3. To the right of your Masternode / Fullnode click ‘Book as Value’ button and you are done! (See Screenshot #2 below)

   • NOTE: Once you do this, you will lose your Masternode / Fullnode sit forever.

After you have selected the option you want, in ‘KCB Conversions’ tab you will see your KCB Masternode / Fullnode converted to KBC Masternode / Fullnode or GSB IPO vouchers.

 

p.s. If you have a KBC node, leave it, you don’t have to do anything with it. The same applies to KBC coins – you just leave them as they are.

So, you need to take care only of your KCB node(s) and KCB coins.
