In this article I summarize 2 ways you can exchange your KBC cryptocurrency for Cashgold.
For a more detailed tutorial on how to convert your KBC to cashgold, read this article.
Â
1. Get your Cashgold through Karatbars ATM
Karatbars ATMs are being manifested into real life!
These machines are also called Cashgold Exchange Machines, CEMs for short.
So, now you can exchange your KBC for Cashgold through a CEM. It’s simple.
-
First, in your Karatbit account, generate a QR code by exchanging some of your KBC to BUNV (Cashgold cryptocurrency). See instructions on how to generate a QR code here.
-
Second, bring that QR code to CEM, select the Cashgold option and let the machine scan the code.
-
Watch a video below to see how the process of redeeming QR code for physical Cashgold looks like exactly.

-
The rolling-out of Karatbars CEMs around the world has started in the middle of June, 2019. So, for this reason, there is still very few CEMs. There is one in Stuttgart, Germany. The location of others should be made public soon.
-
Now, to speed up the appearance of CEM in your town, you can buy it in your Karatgold backoffice (see screenshot marked 1 below). If you’re not registered, register with Karatgold here.
-
Note, you need to be a shop keeper in order to buy a CEM machine.

2. Get your Cashgold by going to Karatbars main office in Stuttgart
You can also get Cashgold for your KBC in Karatbars main office, in Stuttgart.
1. At least 2 weeks in advance, email sales@karatbars.com and inform about the date and time you want to come (you can come 10:00 am – 07:00 pm CET).
-
- Note: You must use the email address you used to registered with Karatbars/Karatbit.
2. Print out and bring QR codes you want to redeem (make sure the dates on the codes are clear)
-
- Note: For security purposes, you can only redeem your own QR codes

Hi. I would like to know some information about these machines. Small details like what will prevent criminals from stealing the machine or breaking it to steal the gold inside. Hope to hear from you.
Thanks
Hi Cameron,
Thank you for dropping by.
It looks like an official brochure or website is not yet in place for Cash Exchange Machines (CEMs).
I’ll email support about that, however it’s very doubtful that Karatbars staff will release the information before it’s made public.
So, at this moment, I know as much as you about CEMs 🙂
If you’ve been following, 2 weeks ago Karatbars announced that first CEMs are getting shipped to people.
Here is also a picture of CEM specs, which you probably saw in your Karatgold office.
I’ll get back to you if I can access any additional info on CEMs.
Have a great weekend!
Are there any CEM machines in the UK?
Hi Jeanne,
Thank you for dropping by!
There might be or there might not.
It depends whether any affiliates from UK ordered CEMs already.
CEM locator should soon be available on Karatbars website – it will be easy to see where CEMs are available around the world.
So, just a little patience for now 🙂
it looks like the peeps who have the GEM’s…are keeping it to themselves
I think people would want to share their CEM with as many people as possible — it’s only benefiting them 🙂
And yes, CEM locator should soon be out. So, we’ll know where CEMs are located around the world!
Where is the one in Minneapolis located?
Hi Scott,
I apologize, I don’t have info of an exact location.
As you can imagine, there are many people who want to exchange QR codes to gold, so the location is kept more private.
If you know anyone who lives in the area or Minnesota, they may be able to direct you.
Have a magical day 🙂

Hi Mike,

Good day to you.

Are there CEM machine in Canada?
The January 2020 promise of 75 KBC to exchange for 1gm of gold is like is not going to happen soon?
Thanks for this opportunity.
Hi Sunday,
You can’t exchange KBC to cashgold anymore. Though you can redeem all QR codes you’ve got remaining at any working CEM.
(100 KBC to 1 gram exchange ended on Dec. 15)
Instead of KBC to cashgold exchange, now there is a 75 KBC GoldMiner promo (with this you can earn gold: https://freewithgold.com/the-75-kbc-goldminer-cashgold-promo-explained-no-need-to-buy-anything
Yes, there are 2 CEMs in Canada (that I know of), however one of them doesn’t have cashgold, the exact location of the other I personally haven’t figure out yet. See more here: https://freewithgold.com/karatbars-cem-exciting-benefits-locations
