Okay, Karatbars and Cryptodata launched WHIM, the first blockchain laptop!
Also, cashgold limit on 100 KBC = 1g gold was removed! Exciting.
At the KaratNet launch event in Amsterdam on Sept 15, Karatbars announced several other phenomenal news.
I summarize the news in this post.
Also, make sure you watch this 3-min video of the KaratNet launch event.
The world’s first blockchain laptop
Okay, it seems like the world’s first blockchain phone (Impulse K1 Phone) wasn’t enough for Karatbars!
Now, the company released a blockchain laptop. Hmm… looks like Karatbars is taking over the world.
How to get the blockchain laptop?

Want to exchange KBC for cashgold? Sure! No daily limit anymore!
If you are planning to exchange some of your KBC for Cashgold, rejoice, because effective September 15, there is no 1 gram per day daily limit anymore!
As long as you have access to Karatbars CEM (Cash Exchange Machine), you can bring as much QR codes as you wish and exchange them all for cashgold!
The only two obvious conditions is that the CEM has to be fully functional and enough Cashgold is available in the machine.
As a reminder, to generate QR codes, log in into your Karatbit account and do it there.
*Remember, 100 KBC = 1g Cashgold
Hardfork (KBC and KCB merging)
The hardfork of KBC and KCB has been postponed. The merging of the coins is going to occur on December 16, 2019.
For this reason, KCB availability is extended until December 15, 2019.
Karatbars Mainnet, KaratNet, is now active
KaratNet is now active.
If you have KBC Supernodes, you will be receiving monthly payouts from now on.
If you have KBC Masternodes or Fullnodes, you will start receiving monthly payouts after December 16, 2019.
What does MainNet mean?
MainNet is that part of blockchain that performs the actual function of transferring cryptocurrency from senders to recipients.
As a general rule, all blockchains have MainNet.
About Karat Merchant (K-Merchant)
K-Merchant is now in full operation.
A couple important things to know:
-
There are no commissions on K-Merchant transactions for both involved parties
-
Note, if you have a business account with K-Merchant and Gold Status…. After six month of activating Gold Status, there is an yearly fee of 200 USD. If you activated Gold Status in the past, your 6-month period has started on September 16.
And last but not the least
On September 18, KCB bonuses were removed from the descriptions of Impulse K1 Packages and Profit Packages. However, everything stays the same!
Instead, to see what goes inside the Impulse K1 Packages, Profit packages and other packages do this:
In your Karatbars backoffice hover over “General” and click “Downloads”. Then click “General information” and find a pdf called “Package content overview”
For your convenience, I’m pasting the “Package content overview” document below:
A little bit of clarity on where the CEM machines are right now.
With a huge promo buildup there is only silence now.
Shipping apparently has been started so any machines that went to Germany would be arriving within a day.
The CEM LOCATER on the new website is not active to show us the locations.
One of the leaders did a video 9 days ago saying the machines are shipped.
So much misinformation out there.
So back to my question
Where are the physical locations of the CEM machine.
Two days ago support informed me that there was only one location for the CEM and that was at head office… surely they should get the news first but alas I ve noticed that they seem to be behind the leaders in getting details.
Might be a good idea to inform them first on new news.
Clarity please
Hi Keith,
Yes, I know what you mean. Where CEMs are available now has been on my mind too.
However, since the first CEM was released in the middle of July I’d guess that there are still only a few installed.
Also, I heard that if affiliates want to speed up the rollout of CEMs so that one appears in their town quickly, they should consider buying it if they are shop owners.
All in all, I have as much information as you do about CEMs and just left to send another request to support@karatbars.com asking about that. When I get a reply I’ll post it here.
Have a beautiful week 🙂
Hi Keith,
Here is a reply I got from Karatbars:
“Please note that the official information has not been posted as of the moment and once we have the details, it will be published in the newsletters of your Karatbars back office.
In order to receive newsletter notifications, please log into your “Back Office” then go to “Profile” then “Preferences”- here you can opt for the option “YES” for receiving the newsletter”.
Yeah, not an exciting answer, but I’m sure the locations of CEMs will be out soon.
