1. Go to Karatbit, login into your account, and go straight to ‘Dashboard’

2. Scroll down and find ‘Exchange’ option to the right of KBC (Karatgold coin) (See Screenshot #1 below)

3. Click on ‘Exchange’ and on the pop-up window, in ‘Amount’ field enter the amount of KBC you want to exchange for KCB. Let’s say you want to exchange 2 KBC. (See Screenshot #2 below)

   • Below you will see how many KCB coins you will receive, in this case it’s 0.251 KCB coins.

4. Click ‘Confirm’ and then ‘OK’ and you are done! (Screenshot #3)

• • When you go back to ‘Dashboard’ you will  see that your KCB balance went up by 0.251.

 

So, for 2 KBC you got 0.251 KCB. So it means that 1 KBC is 0.1255 KCB coins

In other words, today (October 22, 2019) 1 KBC=0.1255 KCB (according to Karatbit)

 

 

 

What is the exchange rate of KBC in KCB coins?

Or how many KCB coins in 1 KBC?

Since KCB coin is still a token and not listed on exchanges, you can’t really use an online currency converter to figure out the exchange rate of KBC in KCB coins.

Not difficult to find out.

From the above screenshots you can see that for each KBC you got 0.1255 KCB coins. So, 1 KBC=0.1255 KCB.

Therefore, the exchange rate of KBC in KCB coins is 0.1255 (according to Karatbit exchange)

Now, let’s pretend that you don’t have access to Karatbit account or you don’t want to exchange anything, you are just interested how many KCB in 1 KBC.

We will need to do a little calculation.

 

Calculation of 1 KBC=?KCB

The exchange rate of KBC obviously depends on the current price of KBC coin. Today (October 22, 2019) 1 KBC = 0.0216 USD.

We know that until December 16, KCB price is constant, which is 0.14 euros or 0.16 USD today.  So, 1 KCB=0.16 USD

Okay,

1 KBC=0.0216 USD

1 KCB=0.16 USD

To figure how many KCB in one KBC coin, given the above, let’s solve the following equation:

1 KBC x 0.16 USD=1 KCB x 0.0216 USD

0.16 KBC=0.0216 KCB

1 KBC=0.0216/0.16

1 KBC=0.135 KCB

So, from this calculation, the exchange rate of KBC in KCB coins is 0.135.

So, 1 KBC=0.135 KCB. That means that for every KBC, you get 0.135 KCB (according to manual calculations)

From the above Karatbit screenshots 1 KBC=0.1255 KCB. That’s a little bit different from 1 KBC=0.135 KCB but very close (0.1255 versus 0.135).

This small difference may be due to approximations (unlikely), some negligible fees, or some other manipulations on Karabit exchange platform (or something else).

 

How many KBC in 1 KCB coin?

Now, let’s do the opposite, and see how many KBC coins in 1 KCB coin.

Given that 1 KBC=0.1255 KCB (according to Karatbit exchange platform)

Then 1 KCB= 1/0.1255 which is 7.97.

So, if rounded, today (October 22, 2019) 1 KCB=8 KBC.
